About Us
Imagine this - two best friends walk into the movie theaters donned in all pink,
excited to watch the Barbie movie.
Little did we know, it would change our lives and inspire us to open CaliLou’s Tattoos.
From best friends to best business partners, it’s been an honor creating a space specifically made to make our clients feel safe while pursuing our craft.
At CaliLou’s, our goal is to create tattoos that make you feel more connected to yourself, all while sharing some laughs along the way.

Whether it be delicate black and grey fine line goodies or bold, bright statement color pieces, Cal swings both ways.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
How intimate it is! Whether it’s a five minute tattoo or a full sleeve, there is a part of my soul that travels with my clients. A small part of me gets to experience their laughter, their moments of shame, pure peace, anger, and love… their whole journey, all emotions included. It’s an honor to be able to share that every time.
A movie you’d recommend to your clients?
Besides Barbie, it’s gotta be Creep and Creep 2. (If you watch these last two and say, Callista, what the hell? All I have to say is nobody said I had to have good taste.)
Your coffee order?
If you got to Lou’s answer before me, yes it’s true. I am the friend that orders different things off the menu almost every time - we exist!!!
My most consistent orders are an iced caramel macchiato, a hot black coffee, or an iced peach green tea.

From new school to neotraditional, realism to watercolor, Lou can execute tattoos from all styles you can imagine. Just say the word, and they’ll make it happen!
What’s your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of my job is by far the connections and friendships made in the chair. Tattooing allows me to get to know people who I otherwise would never meet. Behind every tattoo is a lifetime of stories.
A movie you’d recommend to your clients?
As a movie person, I can’t recommend only one. I have over 15 movie/TV tattoos on me. So I’m gonna say the first three that come to mind: Barbie, Inception, and Stardust.
Your coffee order?
Unlike Callista, I do not change my coffee order every week. All year round is a venti hot soy peppermint latte from Starbucks. Though I’m all about supporting small coffee shops, the lack of consistency with soy milk scares me away.
